Fresh, clean water is becoming increasingly scarce. For this reason, it is a constant challenge to obtain this precious resource and ensure that suitable plans are made for supplying it. To this end, several new methods have been developed for obtaining potable water – and water is now maintained from many more sources than before, for example from desalinated seawater and aquifers. In the context of these differing sources, water purification systems need to be more flexible in order to deal with the different water compositions.
This requires pumps and components which can optimally pump the required fluid in the individual systems as efficiently and for as long as possible.
